Effects of aspirin on the GIT are enhanced by alcohol. Asprin may enhance the activity of coumarin anticoagulants, slphonylurea, hypoglycemic agents, methotrexate, phenytoin, and valproic acid. Aspirin diminishs the effects of uricosuric agents such as probenecid and sulphinpyrazone.
